City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> November 12,2015 <br /> Attorney Glaser stated that the items were placed on Council agenda to acknowledge receipt of <br /> them, obtain Council's views on the matters and provide Council with an opportunity to render a <br /> formal objection. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King to table <br /> Items#2 and#3 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 4. Planning& Zoning Commission Recommendation to Adopt Chapter 155: Flood <br /> Damage Prevention <br /> Administrator Ericson stated a public hearing was held at the last Planning and Zoning meeting <br /> providing opportunity for the public to provide input on the item. Administrator Ericson also <br /> stated that slight modifications were made to the presented Ordinance and Engineer Statz has <br /> incorporated them in the provided materials. Administrator Ericson explained that the City must <br /> adopt the ordinance to participate in the FEMA Flood Insurance Program. <br /> Council Member Love stated that there was no public input at the meeting and Engineer Statz <br /> reviewed the Ordinance very well. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar, to Adopt Chapter <br /> 155: Flood Damage Prevention as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 5. Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation to Adopt Chapter 156.166, <br /> Second Series Amendment to Parking Requirements for other industrial or <br /> warehousing. <br /> Administrator Ericson stated a public hearing was held at the last Planning and Zoning meeting <br /> providing opportunity for the public to provide input on the item. Administrator Ericson also <br /> stated that Mr. Suski was instrumental in researching this item and providing information to <br /> staff. <br /> Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Love, to Adopt Chapter <br /> 156166, Second Series Amendment to Parking Requirements for Other Industrial or <br /> Warehousing as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 6. Revised Grading Plan—Pheasant Marsh Third Addition Vacant Lots <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that the developer, Ground Development, desires to revise the <br /> existing grading plans relating to the remaining vacant lots within the Third Addition. Public <br /> Works Director Palzer does not believe that there will be adverse effect with the swale or runoff <br /> to abutting properties. Administrator Ericson stated that Engineer Statz had several <br /> recommended requirements that should be incorporated into an amendment to their original <br /> Developer's Agreement: <br /> Page 6of9 <br /> 39 <br />
