City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 23, 2016 <br />lake side of CSAH14/Main Street. Mayor Wilharber stated that the City does not own the <br />property and their request should have been forwarded to Anoka County. <br /> <br />Staff stated that the letter was forwarded to Commissioner Sivarajah who forwarded the request <br />to John VonDeLinde who stated that they would take the lead on installation and purchase of a <br />memorial bench, he anticipated that the fee would be $1,000 but would forward more precise <br />information when it became available. <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that the City has a very good partnership with Anoka County Parks <br />and that he had recently been in contact with them regarding signage for the Indian burial <br />mound. Administrator Ericson stated that the City has a wealth of history that needs to be tapped <br />and utilized with the Dupre family. <br /> <br />5. Fourth Amendment to Site Lease Agreement - T-Mobile (Water Tower Lease) <br /> <br />Attorney Glaser stated that T-Mobile desires to renew a 25 year contact with the City for leasing <br />space for their antenna equipment on top of the City’s water tower. Attorney Glaser stated that <br />he is looking for direction as to whether or not they desire to proceed with the amendment or hire <br />a consulting firm to determine the value of the site for T-Mobile’s use. Attorney Glaser stated <br />that he anticipated it would cost approximately $3,000 to hire a firm to provide an appraisal. <br />Attorney Glaser stated that he has worked on these agreements in the past and felt that the <br />$23,000/year was a fairly close estimate of the value. <br /> <br />Lengthy discussion ensued regarding a shorter period for the lease agreement, $25,000/year more <br />average, location of our tower and their ability to utilize it. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to Table <br />this Item to the April 13, 2016 Council meeting. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL & ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> <br />1. Administrator Ericson <br /> a. Shake Your Shamrock Run <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that this was a great event for spectators, participants and the City <br />as a whole. Administrator Ericson stated that Council Member Fehrenbacher, Race Coordinator <br />Kolstad and his family ran in the races. <br /> <br /> b. Fete des Lacs Festival Report <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he is extremely pleased with the turnout out and representation <br />being provided by the numerous entities and groups. Administrator Ericson stated that he will <br />provide Council with an Agenda prior to the meetings and a red-lined version following the <br />meetings to assist in keeping them abreast of the planning of the week-long event. <br /> <br /> c. 2016 City Focus Goals <br />Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
