City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 12, 2006 <br />City Administrator Larson explained that Barna Guzy will finish started projects <br />but all new projects will be given to Bernstein and Glaser. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that this matter came up as a way to streamline services <br />for the Centennial Lakes Police Department so there would be one firm <br />representing the police department and the City has decided to move legal <br />services over to the new firm. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve entering into a contract with Bernstein and Glaser based on the <br />proposal submitted. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 2. 2006 Goals – Formal Adoption <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson asked Council for formal adoption of the goals. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve the finalized goals adopted and reviewed with Staff. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimousl <br />y. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra thanked Staff for staying over time to meet with the Council to go <br />over the goals and objectives. <br /> <br /> 3. State of Minnesota – Municipal Delegation Agreement <br /> <br /> City Administrator Larson indicated that this would allow the City’s building <br />official to inspect public buildings. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br /> <br />authorize Staff to submit the Municipal Delegation Agreement to the State of <br />Minnesota dated July 8, 2004. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />X. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that he received a call from the developer of <br />Pheasant Marsh and they will be brining over fees and developer’s agreement and <br />they have asked the City to consider on Outlot E being deeded to the City splitting <br />the taxes on that piece. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson suggested considering 40% as that is what the City’s <br />portion usually is. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that he does not feel that the City should be <br />negotiating this with this developer. <br />Page 7 of 10 <br />
