PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> Wednesday, October 4,2017—6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks &Recreation Committee of the City of <br /> Centerville held a scheduled meeting on October 4, 2017 at the City Hall location. <br /> Present: Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Committee Member Heidi Grahek <br /> Also Present: Council Member Montain <br /> Kerri Kolstad, Race Coordinator Af <br /> `r. <br /> Absent: Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> Vice-Chairperson Kevin Amundsen <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Waeghe called the October 4, 2017 meeting of the Parks & <br /> Recreation Committee to order at 6:37 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Chairperson Waeghe offered an opportunity to Committee members to modify the <br /> agenda. <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Seeleyseconded by Committee <br /> member Peterson to Move Appointments/Presentations Before Approval of <br /> Minutes. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> Kerri Kolstad, WaHoo! Adventures announced that she is resigning as the Race <br /> Coordinator for the Festival of Lakes 8K/5K/Kids Run. Ms. Kolstad stated that <br /> she would pass on the information that she has gathered to whomever would be <br /> responsible for the race in the future. Ms. Kolstad offered the following <br /> recommendations: make the race date consistent each year; guarantee a shirt for <br /> those who register by a specific date; use the same photographer, Baxter Creek <br /> Photography, as the rates and results were good. Ms. Kolstad extended her <br /> appreciation to everyone for helping out to achieve success. <br /> The committee thanked Ms. Kolstad for her work and she excused herself from <br /> the meeting. <br />
