Movie in the Park Review
Committee Member Peterson stated that Movie in the Park went well and a decent
crowd attended. He stated that the new popcorn machine did not work due to a
loss of power supply to heat the popping kettle. The popcorn machine will be
needed for the next event which is Skate Night in December. Chairperson
Waeghe asked about the warranty, stating that it had been used maybe 5-6 times.
Committee Member Peterson determined that the popper was not heating properly
and that Public Works should look at it. Committee Member Grahek suggested
that Planning and Zoning Commissioner Jon Grahek look at it. Council Member
Montain stated that he could obtain a popcorn popper to use if needed.
Committee Member Seeley suggested that the manufacturer should be contacted
first to request a replacement. It was decided to have Committee Member Seeley
contact the manufacturer first before contacting Public Works and further action
would be based on what manufacturer says.
