The City will not reimburse any expenses incurred by Respondent(s) including, but not limited to, <br /> expenses associated with the preparation and submission of the response and attendance at meetings. <br /> D. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to request additional information from <br /> any and all companies. <br /> E. Schedule <br /> • March 1,2018—All proposalsare due by 4:00 p.m. <br /> • March 14, 2018 Council direction for staff to negotiate a contract with a vendor. During <br /> the negotiation phase, the selected contractor shall submit a redline draft version of a <br /> proposed`contract for the services. <br /> • April 11,2018—Council consideration of garbage and recycling contract. <br /> • July 1,2018—Effective date of Contract-Service begins. <br /> Submittal Requirements <br /> A Respondent may reply to this RFP if they expect to be able to perform the required services by the <br /> expected start date of the contract (July 1, 2018). The Respondent must include a schedule indicating <br /> when required capabilities will be attained and confirm by subsequent submittal when service <br /> requirements are actually obtained. If, after the submittal of a proposal, circumstances cause the <br /> Respondent to be unable to perform the required services, the Respondent is responsible for notifying the <br /> City as soon as possible. <br /> Two or more haulers may join together to submit a proposal as a single entity.
