The video quality might not be what you see on other channels, in fact, it may look like something the guy down the street threw together. But that's the point. I Channel 15 is your public access channel. It is the only channel that offers ANY person the means to produce their own television program. and cablecasts that program into the homes of cable subscribers, free of charge. The staff at the North Metro Media Center, home of Channel IS, offer a va- riety of services to the residents of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexing- ton, Ham Lake, L1no Lakes and Spring Lake Park. They provide television pro- duction training, cameras, editing and stu- dio facilities, and any support and guid- ance you need to produce your own pro- gram. Perhaps you're thinking that teleYi/ sion production isn't a priority for you.. Fair enough. There are other services you may be interested in. If you belong to a club or service organization, North Metro 15 can help get the word out about the organization itself, or upcoming events. Information about your group or event can be posted as a part of the Community Bulletin Board The same information could be used as a story on the staff produced news program "City Scope." The facility can also provide an ex- cellent learning experience for students. Many groups such as the Girl and Boy Scouts arrange tours or get badges through the Media Center. Staff is always happy to work with alternative learning groups such as home schooling coopera- tives, and they offer internships to high school and college students. North Metro 15 is your "truly local" television alternative.
