<br />Page" <br /> <br />December 1999 <br /> <br />Centerville: Preserving the Past while Focusing on the FlJture <br /> <br />Snowmobile Ordinance <br /> <br /> <br />Winter is coming and the City <br />wants to remind you of the ordinance <br />regulating snowmobile operation. <br />It is unlawful for any person to <br />enter, operate or stop a snowmobile <br />within the limits of Centerville: <br />. on the roadway of any street, ex- <br />cept the most right hand lane <br />then available for traffic or as · <br />close as possible to the right hand · <br />curb or edge of the roadway. To <br />operate upon the inside slope and <br />roadway of any trunk, county- <br />state aid and county highways <br />within the City limits <br />. on public sidewalks, boulevards <br />within public right of ways <br />. on private property without spe- <br />cific permission of the owner <br />. on school grounds <br /> <br />. on public property, playgrounds or <br />recreation areas except areas as <br />posted <br />. in excess of ten (10) miles per hour <br />. between the hours of 10:00 p.m. - <br />7:00 a.m., Sunday - Thursday and <br />12:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. Friday and <br />Saturday <br />This provision is not intended to prohibit snow- <br />mobiles from operating on City streets during <br />the hours specified. He began selling his trees in <br />1994 at his farm located south on <br />Centerville Road.
