Call Lake Sanitation at 429~7763 to sign up for <br />curbside recycling and to obtain inforlation on how to prepare <br />the recyclables for pick up. <br />All residents wbo are currently active in the curbside <br />recycling progral are to be cOllended for their participation. <br /> <br />NIWLY CONSTRUCTID BOKIS - Ordinance'4 requires that within one <br />year of issuance of the Occupancy Perlit, the lot shall be <br />landscaped in such a lanner whicb prevents erosion due to wind or <br />water. Already cOlplaints have been received <br />regarding children playing in the streets. Streets on which <br />cOlplaints bave been received this year are Hill Road, Peltier <br />Lake Drive and Center Street. It should also be stressed that it <br />is the responsibility of each individual parent to lake sure that <br />his/her child is not playing in or near tbe streets. The City is <br />asking eacb parent to cooperate to help .ake this sUI.er a safe <br />one. Re.e.ber to recycle. <br /> <br />IARTH DAY - Through the efforts of lany individuals, falilies, 4- <br />H, Brownies, and Scouts Centerville will be celebrating Earth Day <br />by cleaning up Hain Street, Centerville Road, the vater tover <br />park, Central Park and the Royal Headows Park. Younger children <br />witb adult supervision will clean up the park areas. Older <br />children and adult volunteers will be cleaning the road sides. <br />Day lilies viII also be planted in BOle of the above areas. The <br />activities are expected to begin at 9:00 a.l. at the Centerville <br />Klelentary School. At that tile vork kits, assign.ents, and <br />safety instructions viII be passed out. At 11:00 a.l. a free <br />lunch and award cere.ony viII be held at the Lino Lakes Senior <br />Center. Intertainaent is planned to begin at about 11:45 a... <br />Tbe festivities are expected to end at about 12:00 noon. <br /> <br />SPRING CtEAR UP - Saturday, April 28, 9:00 a.l. to 2:00 p.l. at <br />the Centerville City Ball Parking Lot. Two dUlpsters will be <br />available to residents for disposing of yard debris. Brush lust <br />be tied in bundles not larger than 18 inches in dialeter and 4 <br />feet long. Debris not accepted viII be: hazardous vaste, paint, <br />dirt, concrete. Tires viII be accepted at a charge of $~.OO <br />each, payable to Lake Sanitation. <br /> <br />RIVERS ARD tAilS CLIAN UP - June 2, 1990 has been designated as <br />Rivers and Lakes Clean Up. Final details are in the process of <br />being worked on. The Peltier Lake Association, the Centerville <br />Lake Association and the Happy Hustlers 4-8 Club bave volunteered <br />to assist in this clean up project.
