As has been the tradition in the past, the <br />members of this group appear to be very active. It is expected <br />that the productivity experienced from the Task Force in 1988 <br />will continue in 1989. <br /> <br />CENTRAL" PARK - Through the hard work and dedicated service of the <br />Park and Recreation Committee members, volunteerism of the <br />community members, and cooperation of area businesses and <br />organizations, Central Park now has a new hockey rink, pleasure <br />skating rink, and warming house. It is expected that the warming <br />house may be used in the summer months also. Thank you to all <br />who took part in the project. <br /> <br />PARK IMPROVEMENTS - The renovation of Central Park has absorbed <br />much of the 1989 Park and Recreation budget. However, look for <br />additional park improvements in 1990 or 1991. <br /> <br />GENTRAL PARK BALLFIELD - The schedule for ballfield use is now <br />being made. If your organization would like to be on this <br />schedule, please contact Steve Dixon at 429-2612. <br /> <br />ANOKA COUNTY PARK - Take advantage of the swimming beach in the <br />Anoka County Park this summer. The beach is on the west side of <br />Centerville Lake. <br /> <br />CURFEW ORDINANCE - (Ordinance #3*) It is unlawful for any person <br />under the age of 18 to be on any public street, avenue or alley, <br />or present in any park or other public place in the City of <br />Centerville betw80n the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., unless <br />accompanied by his or her parent, guardian, or other person <br />
