City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 26, 2006 <br />Council Member Lakso says that she prefers not to have people advertising door <br />to door because that is what the newspapers and other venues are for. <br /> <br />Council Member Terway said that he is not in favor of door to door advertising <br />either. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that he would not want it to be free because it <br />would encourage a lot of advertising. He then said he would be fine with leaving <br />it the way it is. <br /> <br />Consent to leave it. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked about the fees for meth. lab clean up. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser indicated there is a state statute that governs meth. lab clean <br />up and he and Staff have been discussing the potential of rescinding that <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Terway, to <br />approve Ordinance #XX, Fee Schedule. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> 2. Resolution #06-026 – Modification of Polling Place <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff is proposing to move the polling <br />location to the new St. Genevieve’s Parish Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso indicated that she would like to make sure that there are <br />arrangements in place to clean up the facility after the City uses it. Staff agreed to <br />do so. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Resolution #06-26, Modification of Polling Place. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. 2006 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning & Televising <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that quotes were obtained for cleaning of the <br />sanitary sewer and this should complete all of the sewers built prior to the last <br />four or five years. He then said that the lowest proposal was from Pipe Services <br />Company and Staff recommends accepting the proposal. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve the 2006 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning & Televising.
