City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 12, 2019 <br /> <br />Mayor Paar requested that Item #2, New Business be moved to Item #1 as there were residents in <br />the audience who desired to speak on the issue. <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Midwest Best Water <br />a. Res. #19-016 – Authorizing Conveyance of Real Property <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that this resolution covers numerous things including the purchase <br />agreement. It authorizes all the other documents contained in the packet required for transferring <br />property and for the closing. He stated that the easement revision stand by themselves and need a <br />separate motion but it allows for them to construct a parking lot. It also ensures that if the Rice <br />Creek Watershed needs for it to be removed, Midwest Best Water will cover those costs. <br /> <br />Brief discussion was held by Council regarding the same purchase documents required for <br />Midwest Best Water were the same as required by Ruffridge-Johnson. City Attorney Glaser stated <br />that the process for these documents was slightly different as Council authorized City <br />Administrator Statz and himself to sign the necessary documents and they did not come before <br />Council. Council Member Montain questioned the company names on the resolution (Midwest <br />Best Water Sales, Inc. and Assignment to McKasy Brothers, LLC). City Attorney Glaser stated <br />that McKasy Brothers, LLC is a holding company. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adopt Res. <br />#19-016 – Authorizing Conveyance of Real Property to Midwest Best Water Sales, Inc. and <br />Assignment to McKasy Brothers, LLC as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />b. Item F - Easement Revision <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated the City needs to sign off on the easement for Anoka County Ditch 55 <br />for the Rice Creek Watershed District as the proposed parking lot/truck delivery area is <br />encroaching into the easement. City Attorney Glaser stated that being that the City is the current <br />owner of the property we are required to accept the change. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Love to Approve the <br />Easement Amendment as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz stated that Midwest Best Water in conjunction with the City would be <br />holding a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. on site and <br />everyone is invited. Administrator Statz stated that this is right before the regularly scheduled <br />EDA meeting. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Ordinance #93 Revisions (First Reading) – Small Wireless Facilities <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on June <br />4, 2019.
