City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 25, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Love questioned modifications since the first reading. Administrator Statz stated <br />that height and side wall height were added for the non-residential use accessory structures. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar stated that Table 156-A.1 was corrected for public buildings and Administrator Statz <br />concurred. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that he has reviewed the Ordinances and felt that Stantec did a great <br />job completing them. Administrator Statz requested that if Council chose to adopt the Ordinances <br />that they also adopt the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adopt Ordinance <br />#100, Second Series – Rezoning Certain Properties from M-1 to M-2 as Presented and the <br />Findings of Fact as presented by Stantec. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />nd <br />b. 2 Reading Ordinance #101 – Changes to M-1, M-2 and Table of Allowed Uses <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adopt <br />Ordinance #101, Second Series – Changes to M-1, M-2 of the City Code and Table of Allowed <br />Uses (156.A-1) as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />c. Changes to Downtown Master Plan <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the Downtown Master Plan is similar to the City Code, has been <br />discussed in joint meetings in the past and the proposed changes are a culmination of these <br />discussions. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Montain to Adopt the <br />Downtown Master Plan Amendments as presented by Stantec. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />thth <br />1. 20 Avenue Mini-Storage, 6965 – 20 Avenue <br />a. Site Plan <br />b. Conditional Use Permit and Findings of Fact <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the developer had revised the site plan and worked very diligently <br />to incorporate the Planning & Zoning Commission’s suggestions. He stated that the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission recommends approval of revised site plan, Conditional Use Permit (CUP) <br />and Stantec’s Findings of Fact. He reminded Council that over a year ago zoning modifications <br />were made allowing mini-storage. He stated that he felt it was a good project that would benefit <br />the developer and the City. He also stated that it did not required a subdivision or plat. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that he and Staff worked diligently on the CUP and felt that it protected <br />the City well. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
