Mediation has been postponed due to the COVID-19 situation. <br /> <br />A letter was sent to Alex’s reminding them of the need to keep their equipment and <br />materials off of city property (around the tower), now that the lease for portions of the city <br />property has been canceled. Items such as plow assemblies, large landscape rock, and <br />general debris were found to be on site. <br /> <br />th <br />7129 20Ave. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission upheld the decision of the Zoning Administrator on <br />the issue of nuisance lighting. The owner has been issued a notice to abate the issue. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br /> <br />Lawn Mowing <br />Lawn mowing started this week. Staff reviewed expectations at each location with our <br />contractor. <br /> <br />Misc. Staff Activities <br /> Staff is very busy with locates for utilities as the construction and home building <br />season ramp up. <br /> Staff worked with St Paul Water to relocate gates along their property west of <br />Hunter’s Ridge to better accommodate snow removal for the trail. <br /> Most snow plow damage has been corrected. <br /> <br />Equipment <br /> The two Sterling dump trucks are being sent for box repair, sandblasting & re-coating. <br />Many years of hauling salt has caught up to these two workhorses. <br /> New pickups are on order. <br /> <br />Seasonal Staff <br />Staff is evaluating workload and the logistical issues surrounding staff-to-staff social <br />distancing with summer laborers, prior to making hiring decisions on summer staff. <br /> <br />City Hall Renovation <br />Staff has engaged with consultants to discuss an interim solution to address Heating, <br />Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Audio Visual (A/V) and Security issues <br />while the scope, financing and timing of a broader, future renovation project can be <br />better determined in light of the current economic situation. <br /> <br />Street Sweeping <br />The city contracts with the city of Hugo to perform our street sweeping duties. We anticipate <br />them beginning the week of May 11. <br /> <br />COVID-19 Operations <br />Staff is healthy and limiting personal contact with residents and contractors. <br /> <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br /> <br />
