NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Garbage/Recycling and Nuisance/City <br />ththst <br />Abatement Services, Etc. (4-6 Billing Cycles of 2019 & 1-3rd Billing Cycles of <br />2020 (Utilities & Garbage/Recycling) & Nuisance/City Abatement, Etc. Through <br />November, 2020. Such Amounts will be Assessed to Parcel Identification Number <br />Through County Property Tax Statements Payable in 2021 <br />Mayor Love opened the floor for comments and none were received. <br />Motion by Council Member Wilharber, seconded by Council Member Koski to Adopt Res. <br />#20-024 - Delinquent Utilities, Garbage/Recycling and Nuisance/City Abatement Services, <br />ththst <br />Etc. (4-6 Billing Cycles of 2019 & 1-3rd Billing Cycles of 2020 (Utilities & <br />Garbage/Recycling) & Nuisance/City Abatement, Etc. Through November, 2020. Such <br />Amounts will be Assessed to Parcel Identification Numbers Through County Property Tax <br />Statements Payable in 2021 as Presented. A roll-call vote was taken. Mayor Love and <br />Council Members Koski, Lakso, Montain & Wilharber voted in favor. Motion carried. <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that he would be happy to address questions regarding his <br />spiking in COVID-19 illnesses the City is being <br />extra vigilant with City Hall being completely closed to the public unless appointments are made <br />if needed. He stated that the renovations are continuing and with timing of Elections being <br />completed, City Hall being closed to the public, the movers are scheduled for the following week <br />to move office furniture back into Administrative Offices so that the lobby and Council Chambers <br />can be focused on. He stated that work with the contractor will be completed to ensure proper <br />layout prior to demolition/renovation in the coming week with construction commencing the <br />following week. He stated that Staff has completed walk-throughs with the contractor for <br />Administrative Offices. <br /> <br />He reported that the regularly scheduled Council meeting for November 25 has been cancelled due <br />to the holidays and potential for lack of quorum and the December 23 meeting may be cancelled <br />as we become closer to that date for the same reasons. He also reported that the third round of <br />Anoka County CARES Act Funding Grants have been completed with the program being fully <br />subscribed, 6 non-profits and 53 businesses took advantage of the funding. He stated that this was <br />a great program and he was glad that several Centerville businesses were able to take advantage <br />of the program. Administrator Statz stated that on this even <br />approved the second to last round of CAREs Act Fund reporting protocols, it may be the last report <br />that is needed as all funds have been spent, that the City is one (1) cycle ahead of requirements so <br />that if the City were to be notified that any expenditures did not meet requirements we could <br />Page 8 of 12 <br />8 <br /> <br />
