City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 12, 2020 <br />complete the last reporting accordingly. He stated that Staff was confident in reporting eligible <br />expenses with all funds being exhausted ($304,902). He reported on Old Mill Estates, Phase 2 <br />st <br />continues to sell lots with a large amount of interest and also stated that the 1 addition is filling <br />up. He also reported that the Atlas Villas Memory Care development has site renderings available <br />on social media and that they are prepping the site for work. He <br />Planning & Zoning meeting had been cancelled but the December 2 meeting will commence as <br />scheduled. He stated that the architect has updated the renderings for Council Chambers so that <br />all could have an idea of the anticipated outcome. He reminded the audience and Council that the <br />Parks and Recreation Committee had scheduled their annual skate nights for January 8 and <br />February 6, 2021 and hoped for good weather and good ice. He stated that all tobacco <br />the age of 18 but under the age of 21 and that he was pleased with the outcome. <br /> <br />He stated that a memorandum was forwarded to all elected officials in Anoka County from <br />Commissioner Malcome, MN Department of Health regarding COVID cases throughout the <br />County, surpassed the 5% threshold, concern for transmission and is at a dangerous level and the <br />spread of virus is uncontrolled. <br />Council Reports <br />a. <br />i. Council Member Lakso reported <br />that there is one (1) skate night for Friday evening and one (1) skate <br />night scheduled for Saturday evening. She also reported that the <br />Committee has filled all of its vacancies which has not be realized since <br />2016. She reported that the new memb <br />the community, he is very excited and stated that the Committee was <br />very excited to having a full roaster of members. Council Member <br />Lakso stated that there are still pa <br /> be a part of this program. <br />ii. Centennial Fire Distri No report was given. <br />iii. No report was given. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso stated that she attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the <br />new hockey indoor training busalong Main Street. She <br />stated congratulations to the owner and suggested individuals stop in for a tour. <br /> <br />b. asked Administrator Statz whether there were 18 lots in Old Mill <br />Estates, Phase II and 11 have been sold already. Administrator Statz stated that <br />it appears that they have been sold to one (1) builder. <br /> <br />i. No report was given. <br />ii. Economic Development Authority <br />stated that the meeting would be held on November 18, and that he was <br />unsure if anyone had applied.
