City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 12, 2020 <br />i. Council Member Montain stated that he was <br />unable to attend the meeting and thanked Council Member Wilharber <br />for attending as the Alternate. <br />ii. North Metro Telecommunications Commission <br />Montain reported that the meeting would be upcoming with the <br />Commission awaiting legal responses. He stated that he would have an <br /> <br />e. Love ice and sacrifices and protecting our <br />freedoms. <br /> <br />Mayor Love also stated that he did <br />them to Centerville. He stated that the owner had a large amount of energy <br />and that he and his family are members of Centerville. <br /> <br />He reminded the audience that all election signs needed to be removed as of <br />the following day per ordinance (10 days following the Election). <br /> <br />He stated that on a serious note he wanted to address that he had received an <br />email from a resident regarding another resident flying a Confederate flag. He <br />desired to remind residents that everyone has the right to freedom of speech and <br />the right to fly that flag if they desire. He stated that due to the veterans of the <br />United States and freedoms that we have as being U.S. citizens. He stated that <br />if anyone ever wanted to discuss things, his contact information is online. He <br />stated that every individual is different, with different thoughts and that is what <br />makes us valuable as citizens of Centerville which makes the City great. He <br />thanked everyone for their engagement and concern. <br /> <br />Mayor Love desired to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. <br /> <br />Council Member Wilharber stated that two young individuals were <br />participating in the meeting this evening that may desire for paperwork to be <br />completed. Administrator Statz stated that he would introduce Zachary and Mr. <br />William Zunker are students at the U of M where he guest lectured earlier in <br />the week. He stated that part of their follow up was for them to attend a City <br />Council meeting and learn about what the Administrator does and what an <br />Engineer does. Mr. William Zunker introduced himself to Council, thanked <br />City Administrator Statz for his generosity and the opportunity to attend this <br /> <br />XI.
