The parcel is now <br />zoned B-2; Rachel is requesting a rezoning to B-1 <br />because Specialized Care Facilities (like this use) <br />are allowed as a conditional use in B-1 but not B- <br />2. Site plan review is also included in this report. <br />The use is described as a “high acuity and <br />memory care senior living facility”, meaning that <br />residents will need a significant level of <br />assistance. <br /> <br />Surrounding uses include Willow Glen townhomes <br />to the west, proposed apartments to the north, <br />st <br />the 35E Park and Ride lot east across 21 <br />Avenue, and a future commercial use in the <br />proposed lot south of Street A in the plat. Part of <br />this lot is across from the proposed Kwik Trip as <br />well, but it is only the storm pond on this lot <br />across from the storm pond on the Kwik Trip lot, <br />not the buildings. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
