The L-shaped building has common areas in the middle with memory <br />care units in the west wing of the building and other assisted living units in the middle and east <br />wings, all off a common hallway. There is an open patio at the NE corner of the building for <br />assisted living residents and a gated patio in the SW corner for memory care residents (security is <br />an important issue for the memory care residents) See site plan illustration below. <br /> <br />One issue with the site plan is the location of the northeast patio. Being on the NE side of the <br />building it would not get sun, especially afternoon sun. An improvement would be if the building or <br />site could be reconfigured to give some southern exposure to this patio. <br /> <br />
