She will be putting together a proposal for helping <br />to plan and manage something here. We are initially thinking of a 3-week run of <br />Thursday evenings in August, between the end of Marketfest and the State Fair. We are <br />exploring lots of ideas, but may try to start small with a few food trucks and vendors in <br />Cornerstone Park, to build off the crowd at the Bald Eagle Waterski show. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Comp Plan <br />The final version of the Comprehensive Plan was submitted to the Metropolitan Council <br />before year-end. Thanks to everyone involved for their hard work. <br />Peltier Estates <br />Staff received a call from an attorney for the developer, working on finalizing <br /> are hopeful this is a sign that the <br />development is moving forward towards construction. <br />Waterworks Site/DeFoe Property <br />The developer and his representatives met with City Staff on January 17, to review <br />outstanding issues. Through conversations with some prospective buyers, the developer <br />and his builder may ask the city to consider small changes in the approved Conditional <br />Use Permit to allow flexibility for the addition of small swimming pools, saunas and the <br />like. These changes would come back to the Planning and Zoning Commission at their <br />February meeting. <br />Old Mill Estates <br />The developer and the city attorney recently met to go through the major points of the <br />e agreement and other documents needed for <br />will be in front of the City Council in <br />February. <br />Block 7 Property <br />See notes above. <br /> <br />
