1737 Main Street & 1691 Main Street <br />On this agenda, is a request to authorize survey and title work for both city-owned parcels <br />as a first step towards marketing the properties. <br /> <br /> <br />Commerce Drive Property <br />During the public portion of the City Council meeting, Mr. McKasy, of Midwest Best <br />Water Sales, will be on hand to introduce himself and his company and to discuss his <br /> on Commerce Drive for his business. His <br />company installs and services the purified water filling stations at grocery stores in the <br />region. Their building would be for warehousing and assembly of the dispensing units <br />and gallon jugs. The proposed building is 25,000 square feet, of which they would plan <br />to initially occupy 15,000, leaving two, 5000 sf bays open for tenancy. <br /> <br />Our realtor will be on hand to give us some more background information and explain the <br />purchase agreement, during the closed session. <br /> <br />General <br />Code enforcement letters have been sent, recently, on the following topics: <br /> Well repair exceeding $1500/Water Hook-up <br />The city attorney has submitted draft language for the new Conditional Use Permit to <br />CenterMart - Conditional Use Permit <br />City staff met with CenterMart ownership to discuss compliance issues and look at <br />potential revisions to their Conditional Use Permit. We think there are some issues that <br />could be mitigated while enhancing their business opportunities. Our conversations will <br />continue and will work towards compliance and potential changes in the CUP. <br /> <br />
