General <br /> A small area of sidewalk snow removal which had been neglected was cleaned up <br />by city staff to address a citizen complaint. No charges were levied against the <br />homeowner. <br /> Several reminder letters were sent out for folks who have zoning violations which <br />will need to be addressed in the spring. <br /> A follow-up letter was sent to a homeowner who removed one of the vehicles <br />from the rear yard as requested in the initial enforcement letter, but has not <br />removed a large construction trailer or other vehicles to come into compliance. <br />The city attorney has submitted draft language for the new Conditional Use Permit to <br />CenterMart - Conditional Use Permit <br />City staff met with CenterMart ownership to discuss compliance issues and look at <br />potential revisions to their Conditional Use Permit. We think there are some issues that <br />could be mitigated while enhancing their business opportunities. Our conversations will <br />continue and will work towards compliance and potential changes in the CUP. <br />Ready Landscaping <br />ken down all of their signage. <br /> <br />Rehbein Black Dirt <br />st <br />The Rehbein Black Dirt operation off of 21 Ave. was granted an Interim Use Permit by <br />the City Council at the last meeting, based on a recommendation from the P&Z <br />commission. <br />th <br />7129 20 Ave. <br />th <br />New outdoor lighting fixtures attached to the building at 7129 20 Ave. have become a <br />nuisance to area residents. The lights were put up due to safety concerns. City staff <br />mediated a meeting between the building owner and the residents. The building owner is <br />going to install hoods on the fixtures and/or lower voltage fixtures and communicate with <br />the homeowners to make sure they are satisfied with the results. A follow-up date was <br />set to ensure progress is being made towards a solution. <br />uary 21. They have agreed to work out a <br />plan to reduce their signage to comply with city code. Jeff and Vicki also discussed their <br />plan to remove the dilapidated garage near the Southern Rail, this summer. <br /> <br />
