Economic Development <br />Authority <br />The EDA held an open <br />house on August 21 to <br />roll out the Business <br />Incentive Revolving <br />Loan and Grant Program <br />giving local business <br />owners an opportunity to <br />hear more about the <br />program and offer input. <br />Represented at the <br />meeting were <br />MidwestOne Bank, Kelly's/Southern Rail, Carbones, Family Pathways, and Rumble <br />Motorsports along with EDA members/business owners Michael Giovinazzo, Jeff Paar <br />and Jeff Hanzal. <br />Staff took the opportunity to solicit other input from businesses and to introduce them to <br />several other important topics and resources. <br />Anoka County Regional <br />Economic Development <br />(ACRED) <br />Anoka County Regional <br />Economic Development held a <br />Partners Meeting, recently, at the <br />Blaine Airport. Topics discussed <br />included upcoming events <br />involving the group (see list <br />below) <br />also learn how to leverage state and local financing incentives for upcoming projects. RANOKAoCOUNTY <br />• September IIth — Regional Bankers and Credit Union Event presented by <br />ACRED Bunker Hills Event Center 8:00-9:30 AM <br />• October 9th - UpRiver Real Estate Event hosted by ACRED TPC Blaine 8:30- <br />11:OOAM <br />• October 30th — MNCAR Exchange — ACRED will have a booth 3:00-7:00 PM <br />• November Ist — MNREJ Data Center Summit — ACRED will speak on a panel <br />about the MN Technology Corridor with Connexus Energy and Washington <br />County 8:OOAM-12:OOPM <br />• November 14th — MNREJ Industrial Summit — ACRED will have a booth (2-3 <br />cities are welcome to attend for free) 8:OOAM-12:OOPM <br />• November 21st — Anoka County Business Summit Anoka Technical College <br />7:30-9:00 AM <br />
