ACRED Marketing Committee <br />The marketing committee recently met and discussed its ongoing objectives including <br />planning for the UpRiver event, which is targeted at real estate professionals and site <br />selectors to showcase available properties in Anoka County. <br />Minnesota Technology Corridor <br />An official Launch Party was held at <br />Running Aces Casino and Race Track on <br />August 1 to kick off the new website and <br />announce the brand to the media. The <br />event was attended by over 60 <br />stakeholders. <br />http://www.mntechcorridor.com/ <br />Open to Business <br />From Kathleen Duchene, our Open to <br />Business Advisor in Anoka County - <br />I wanted to let you know that I will be <br />retiring soon; we are heading to AZ to <br />start the next chapter of life! Our <br />primary residence will be in the Phoenix <br />area over the winter months, and we'll <br />enjoy summers at our cabin in northern <br />MN. I look forward to this new adventure! <br />My replacement is Carrie Mikkonen. Carrie has lived in the area for 25 years, brings a <br />wealth of experience and knowledge in business operations to this position, and <br />graduated from Bethel University with a Business degree. She is super excited to be <br />working with MCCD and Anoka County, her passion is working with small business! You <br />will enjoy collaborating with her! <br />Her contact info is below.
