Development Inquiries <br />• Single-family residential developer looking for available land for small to mid- <br />sized project (3 — 50+ units) <br />• Large lot on south side of Peltier Lake Drive looking to split into multiple single- <br />family lots (several calls/visits regarding this site) <br />• Potential restaurant owner looking for space to build or lease for a non -franchised <br />fast -casual Mexican food or similar. <br />• Various inquiries about space available at Arcade Asphalt's building on 21" Ave. <br />• Realtor questions on zoning and available use on the vacant lot adjacent to <br />Northern Forest Products <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT — RESIDENTIAL <br />General <br />Unlicensed vehicles/junk (repeat offender) <br />Filling/Grading without a permit (follow-up from earlier enforcement) <br />Personal property on city property (right-of-way) <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT — COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL <br />Alex's Lawn and Turf, LLC — Conditional Use Permit <br />This item is the subject of a closed executive session at this City Council meeting. <br />CenterMart - Conditional Use Permit <br />The owner has made progress towards compliance with their Conditional Use Permit. <br />Staff has also addressed transient merchants set up on site and has been able to get them <br />licensed. <br />7129 20t' Ave. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission heard an appeal from the business owner on the <br />issue of their lighting being a nuisance. The issue was tabled as the business owner <br />expressed plans to comply with the requirements laid out by the zoning administrator by <br />the end of August. <br />Wholesome Health <br />A follow-up letter was sent, requesting a response to earlier notices regarding the need <br />for a sign permit. <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />Met Council Stormwater Grant <br />City staff and consultants have submitted a grant application for the expansion of our <br />stormwater reuse system in LaMotte Park. We should know if we have been awarded the <br />grant by the end of August. If awarded, we would use the funds to help meet stormwater <br />obligations for the downtown street project and Block 7 redevelopment. <br />
