Old Mill Estates <br />Construction of the sewer, water and storm sewer is complete, with minor punch list <br />items and tests left to complete. Street construction will begin on Monday 9/23. Eternity <br />Homes has already submitted a house plan for review. Building permits will be issued as <br />soon as the street is paved. <br />Block 7 Property <br />At the last City Council meeting, the council voted to move forward with a public hearing <br />for the creation of a Housing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District on Block 7. The <br />hearing is to be held on October 9. The current proposal is for $1.35 Million of <br />assistance over a 20-year district lifespan. <br />Midwest Best Water <br />Curb and gutter has been installed and pavement will follow the week of September 23. <br />Concrete work on the floor and exterior sidewalks and landings continues. Substantial <br />Completion is still on track for October 31. <br />7241 Main Street <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed concept plat options for the subdivision <br />of this lot. General consensus was that either a 2 or 3 lot configuration could work. We <br />anticipate seeing an application for preliminary plat in the next few weeks. <br />Centerville Storage (20t' Ave. Mini Storage) <br />The developer has resubmitted plans accommodating the changes recommended by the <br />Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission. A revised site plan is included in the agenda <br />packet along with a report from our planners and a Conditional Use Permit and Findings <br />of Fact as approved by the P&Z Commission. Construction on the site could begin as <br />early as October. <br />Main Street Assisted Living Project <br />We have been in contact with an architect who is working on the Assisted Living Facility <br />that was presented to the P&Z Commission a number of months ago. A meeting is set for <br />September 26, to further discuss the site.
