General <br /> Follow-up on several ongoing code violations <br />A letter was sent to legal reing them of two conditions <br />which are out of compliance with their Conditional Use Permit. The deadline to remedy <br />those situations is November 30, 2019. Staff will be discussing water tower access with <br />the council at this meeting. <br />th <br />7129 20 Ave. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission heard an appeal from the business owner on the <br />issue of their lighting being a nuisance. The issue was tabled as the business owner <br />expressed plans to comply with the requirements laid out by the zoning administrator by <br />the end of August. A follow-up letter was sent to the business owner, requiring him to <br />abate the nuisance before the next Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Wholesome Health <br />A follow-up letter was sent, requesting a response to earlier notices regarding the need <br />for a sign permit. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br />Staffing <br />One of our public works staff members will be undergoing surgery in November, which <br />will sideline him for plowing duties. We are exploring options to fill that void until he <br />can return to work. <br />City Hall Renovation <br />The architect has completed their work on a layout for a renovation project at city hall. <br />Staff will present this report and budget estimates at an upcoming work session. <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />Met Council Stormwater Grant <br />The City received formal notification that our grant was awarded by vote of the full Met <br />Council. Staff and consultants are meeting later this week to develop a formal work plan <br />to submit to Met Council for review. <br />Rice Creek Watershed District <br />City staff produced comments on the the Rice Creek Watershed District Draft Water <br />Resources Management Plan and submitted them to the district. Their responses to our <br /> <br />
