PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br /> <br />Mayor Love stated that he would like to add a public comment section immediately following the <br />agenda and also added New Business, Item #1 - Sale of Pick-up Trucks and renumber the agenda <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to Approve the <br />Agenda as Amended. A roll-call vote was taken. Mayor Love and Council Members King, <br />Koski, Lakso & Mosher voted in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Larry Jiles, Jr., new tenant of the former Vincenzo’s, Chef Hot Hands, explained that they are a <br />catering company that offers unique curb-side and delivery services that provide gourmet food to <br />homes at an affordable price. He noted that they attempt to use all natural and organic ingredients. <br />He stated that he has reviewed the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and feels there are a lot of benefits <br />he can bring to the community that will match the goals of the Plan. He stated that he can help <br />enhance neighborhood engagement with a small-town family café that specializes in breakfast <br />food as well as home-style cooking. He stated that he is interested in 1695 & 1691 Centerville <br />Road for such a café. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz asked Mr. Jiles to share how people can get in touch with him. <br /> <br />Mr. Jiles stated that on Facebook, they post their menu daily and people may also look at <br />www.chefhothands.com. He noted that they take walk-in orders as well as phone orders. He stated <br />that orders will take between 15 and 20 minutes to prepare. He stated that they also offer delivery <br />service, that is similar to Door Dash or Grub Hub but will save the customers a few dollars because, <br />other services upcharge the customers by about 28%. He stated that it is fine dining delivered to <br />your home and explained that they take pride in how they put the food in the box, so when you sit <br />down to eat at home, it is like you are sitting in a restaurant. <br /> <br />Council Member Mosher asked for more details on the café that Mr. Jiles was considering opening. <br /> <br />Mr. Jiles stated that it would be similar to a Keys Café, and would have an outside patio deck <br />seating area on the back side in order to take advantage of the lake.
