permitted. according to minimum city specifications, excluding R-1 Districts. parking and loading areas shall provide for proper drainage of surface <br />water to prevent the drainage of the water onto adjacent properties or walkways. The <br />owner of any parking or loading area shall maintain the area in good condition <br />without holes and free of all dust, rubbish and other debris. Parking and access drives <br />shall be located a minimum of five (5) feet from any property line. Parking spaces <br />shall be a minimum of nine feet wide and 18 feet deep. <br /> <br />Section 4. That a new Section 156.166(L) shall be added and currentitems (L) and (M) shall <br />be reordered to item (M) and (N), as follows: <br /> <br />(L) Improvement and maintenance residential properties. Parking spaces and <br />driveways shall be improved with a durable and dust-free surface such as asphalt, <br />concrete, pavers, cobblestone or similar material as approved by the City <br />Administrator or their designee. Gravel or loose rock, such as landscape rock, is not <br />permitted in the front of the property, within the front yard setback, or within the <br />public street right-of-way, but is allowed elsewhere on a residential property. This <br />surfacing requirement does not apply in the R-1 District, where gravel driveways <br />shall be allowed. That new Sections 156.166(O) and (P) shallbe added and current item (N) in that <br />section be reordered to item (Q), to read as follows: <br /> <br />(O) Permitted vehicles and equipment stored on residential lots. The permitted vehicles <br />and equipment allowed to be stored outside of a structure on residential lots consist <br />of three categories and two sizes: <br />a. Passenger vehicles, such as a car, truck, or van, provided they registered <br />and operable and which are defined herein; <br />b. Other vehicles, such as a snowmobile, camper, recreational vehicle, <br />travel trailer, camper, motor home, boat,personal watercraft and similar, <br />which may be or as defined herein; <br />c. Equipment, such as a trailer, construction equipment, skid steer, ice house, <br />fish house, and similar, and which are as defined herein; <br />d. Small units. Small units referred to in this section shall have an overall length <br />from front to back of no more than 25 feet, an overall height of no more than <br />8 feet, and a gross vehicle weight rating of no more than 14,000 pounds, <br />corresponding to Class 1, 2 and 3 vehicles.
