Project BanjoTraffic StudyMarch 2, 2022 <br />Page 9 <br />Trip Distribution <br />Trips generated were distributed throughout the study area based on the directional distribution <br />shown inFigure 4, which was developed based on existing travel patterns, service area data provided <br />the project team,and engineering judgement. The trip distribution also shows the site generated trips <br />at each of the driveways serving the site. The resulting year2024 build condition traffic volumes are <br />shown inFigure 5. <br />YEAR 2024 BUILD CONDITIONS <br />To understand impacts associated with the proposed development, year 2024 build conditions were <br />evaluated using Synchro/SimTraffic Software (version 11). Results of the year 2024 intersection <br />capacity analysis, shown in Table 5, indicates that all study intersections are expected to operate at an <br />overall LOS C or betterduring the a.m., midday (10 to 11 a.m.), and p.m. peak hours. In addition, side- <br />street approaches and/or driveways operateat LOS D or better during the peak hours. Peak queues <br />are well within the existing turn lane storages provided. Therefore, no infrastructure changes within <br />the study area are needed from an intersection capacity perspective. However, further discussion <br />regarding potential improvements is provided later in this report.
