City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 9, 2022 <br /> <br />allows additional information regarding contact information, etc. <br /> <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the <br />Submitted Site Plan for 2010 Fairview Street – Max Storage. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Love welcomed Max Storage Enterprises to Centerville. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br /> <br />Administrator Statz noted that the Administrator’s Report was included in the packet and that he <br />would be happy to answer any questions regarding it. He added it was anticipated that Atlas Villas <br />would be opening in April, receipt of applications for a large on-line retailer proposing a 150,000 <br />square foot building with 300 employee parking spots and 600 delivery vehicle parking spaces. <br />He stated that the Planning & Zoning Commission would be discussing the applications at their <br />next meeting. He also stated that a traffic study needed to be completed regarding the proposed <br />project. He reported that the Parks & Recreation Committee vacancy remained. <br /> <br />Mayor Love suggested that Mr. Frevel may be interested if he is not accepted on the Fire <br />Department. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser - gave no report. <br /> <br />Junior Council Member Peterson – stated that Spring Break was happening. He briefly report <br />about the hockey team, boys and girls basketball teams. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that the City was hiring for summer help, the individual must be 18 <br />years of age or old, and if he knew of anyone to please let them know. <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br /> <br />a. Lakso – Council Member Lakso stated that the history wall had been updated. <br />Administrator Statz stated that the artifacts are from the Dupre Family Collection <br />and that the Historical Society updates it every six (6) months or so per our contract. <br />He stated that the Historical Society would on occasion be using some of their items <br />also. <br /> <br /> Parks & Recreation – Council Member Lakso gave no report. <br /> <br /> b. Koski – Council Member Koski thanked Mr. Frevel for attending this evening to <br />discuss Emerald Ash Borer. He stated that he had five (5) trees in his yard and the <br />largest tree is an Ash and that he has treated it twice with chemicals from Menards. <br /> <br />Page 8 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
