VIXID USE NEICH61OR+4000 DISTRICT
PLANNING ISSUES
The project originally was to be considered with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) but is now being
reviewed as a PUD - which is also a CUP in the Centerville code - covering all aspects of the site
and use. There are three features of the project that would require a CUP: truck terminal, outside
storage, and building height. These are reviewed within the PUD.
Truck Terminal
The facility involves bringing goods onto the site in trucks, unloading, sorting, repackaging them for
distribution, and loading them into vans for delivery. "Warehouse/Distribution" is a permitted use in
the Industrial district, but "Truck Terminal" is a conditional use. There is no definition for truck
terminal in the code, but the proposed Banjo facility meets a typical dictionary definition for it.
Design with community in mind
