Ordinance XX 12-22-2021 169.011, provided they are registered and operable and which are “small” as defined herein. ii.“Other vehicles.” Other vehicles such as snowmobiles, campers, recreational vehicles, travel trailers, campers, motor homes, boats, personal watercraft and similar, which may be either “small” or “large” as defined herein. iii.“Equipment.” Equipment such as trailers, construction equipment, skid steers, icehouses, fishhouses, and similar, and which are “small” as defined herein. iv.“Small units.” Small units referred to in this section shall have an overall length from front to back of no more than 25 feet, an overall height of no more than 8 feet, and be no more than 14,000 pounds gross vehicle weight, corresponding to Class 1, 2 and 3 vehicles. Small units may be for personal or commercial use. v.“Large units.” Large units referred to in this section shall have an overall length of no more than 40 feet, an overall height of no more than 13 feet, or be no more than 19,500 pounds gross vehicle weight, corresponding to Class 4 and 5 vehicles. Anything longer, taller, or heavier than these maximums is not allowed to be stored outside on residential property. Large units must be for personal use only; no large commercial units are allowed to be stored outside on residential property. (g)Special Rules (i)Firewood.The outside storage of firewood shall be no closer than five (5) feet to any property line. Such wood shall be stacked in a neat, orderly, safe manner. The maximum height allowed is four (4) feet. (ii)Construction Storage. Outside storage may include temporary storage of materials and equipment during construction and landscaping when performed pursuant to a permit issued by the City. Temporary storage shall not to exceed four (4) months from the date a permit is issued by the City unless written permission is granted by City Staff to extend this period. DRAFT Page 4of4
