Ordinance XX 12-22-2021 <br />169.011, provided they are registered and operable and <br />which are “small” as defined herein. <br />ii.“Other vehicles.” Other vehicles such as snowmobiles, <br />campers, recreational vehicles, travel trailers, campers, <br />motor homes, boats, personal watercraft and similar, <br />which may be either “small” or “large” as defined herein. <br />iii.“Equipment.” Equipment such as trailers, construction <br />equipment, skid steers, icehouses, fishhouses, and similar, <br />and which are “small” as defined herein. <br />iv.“Small units.” Small units referred to in this section shall <br />have an overall length from front to back of no more than <br />25 feet, an overall height of no more than 8 feet, and be <br />no more than 14,000 pounds gross vehicle weight, <br />corresponding to Class 1, 2 and 3 vehicles. Small units <br />may be for personal or commercial use. <br />v.“Large units.” Large units referred to in this section shall <br />have an overall length of no more than 40 feet, an overall <br />height of no more than 13 feet, or be no more than 19,500 <br />pounds gross vehicle weight, corresponding to Class 4 <br />and 5 vehicles. Anything longer, taller, or heavier than <br />these maximums is not allowed to be stored outside on <br />residential property. Large units must be for personal use <br />only; no large commercial units are allowed to be stored <br />outside on residential property. <br />(g)Special Rules <br />(i)Firewood.The outside storage of firewood shall be no <br />closer than five (5) feet to any property line. Such wood <br />shall be stacked in a neat, orderly, safe manner. The <br />maximum height allowed is four (4) feet. <br />(ii)Construction Storage. Outside storage may include <br />temporary storage of materials and equipment during <br />construction and landscaping when performed pursuant <br />to a permit issued by the City. Temporary storage shall <br />not to exceed four (4) months from the date a permit is <br />issued by the City unless written permission is granted by <br />City Staff to extend this period. <br />DRAFT Page 4of4 <br /> <br />
