§ 112.12 HOLDING ITEMS. <br /> An item received by a secondhand goods dealer or pawnbroker for which a report to the police is <br />required may not be sold or otherwise transferred for a period of 30 days after the date of the report to the <br />police. However, an individual may redeem an item pawned 72 hours after the item was received on deposit, <br />excluding Sundays and legal holidays. <br /> <br />Penalty, see § 112.99 <br /> <br />Ord. #64, adopted 08/13/1997 <br />§ 112.13 POLICE ORDERS. <br /> <br /> If a city police officer notifies a dealer not to sell an item, the item may not be sold or removed from the <br />licensed premises until authorized to be released by the police. <br /> <br />Penalty, see § 112.99 <br /> <br />Ord. #64, adopted 08/13/1997 <br />§ 112.14 HOURS OF OPERATION. <br /> <br />(A) No property shall be received as a pledge or purchase by any pawnbroker or secondhand goods dealer, <br />nor shall any property be sold by a pawnbroker or secondhand goods dealer, from 9:00 p.m. Saturday to <br />7:00 a.m. Monday, nor on any other date before 7:00 a.m., nor on any day after 9:00 p.m. <br />(B) Further, no pawnbroker or secondhand goods dealer shall be open for business on Christmas Day, <br />Thanksgiving Day or on a Sunday. <br />Penalty, see § 112.99 <br />Ord. #64, adopted 08/13/1997 <br />§ 112.15 PROHIBITED ACTS. <br />(A) Minor. <br />(1) A minor may not sell or consign or attempt to sell or consign goods with a secondhand goods <br />dealer or pawnbroker. <br /> <br />(2) A secondhand goods dealer or pawnbroker may not receive goods from a minor. <br />(B) Others.
