City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 8, 2022 <br />7. Rescheduling the June 20, 2022 City Council Meeting to June 21, 2022 <br />Administrator Statz stated that Council’s regularly scheduled meeting was for June 22, 2022 and <br />Council rescheduled the meeting for June 20, 2022 due to the anticipation that several members <br />would be attending the League of MN Cities annual conference. He stated that he has realized that <br />meetings cannot be held on June 20, 2022 due to it being Juneteenth. <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Koski to Reschedule the <br />June 20, 2022 City Council Worksession & Council Meeting to June 21, 2022. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br />8. Professional Photography Services for Website <br />Administrator Statz stated that Staff desired to include professional photography to be included on <br />the new website. He explained that the quality of photos needs to be higher than a snapshot. <br />Discussion ensued regarding assistance from the EDA, the receipt of several quotes, pending <br />quotes, upcoming events that could be captured, estimated cost of $2,000, contract for services <br />with the City Attorney’s review, photo releases, hiring a local photographer, services not being <br />specific to businesses and funds being expended from the General Fund. <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve <br />Securing a Professional Photographer for Services for the Website in an amount not to <br />exceed $2,000. <br />Administrator Statz suggested that the motion contain that funds be expended from the General <br />Fund. <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve <br />Securing a Professional Photographer for Services for the Website in an Amount Not to <br />Exceed $2,000 Expended from the General Fund. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1.Administrator/Engineer Report <br />Administrator Statz thanked businesses and the Lions club for their support in funding raising for <br />Fete des Lacs. <br />Attorney Glaser - Attorney Glaser gave no report. <br />Junior Council Member Peterson – Junior Council Member Peterson provided an update of the <br />school’s sporting teams and stated that he would be a senior in the upcoming school year. <br />2.
