City of Centerville <br />P & R Meeting Minutes <br />August 3, 2022 <br />2. Mr. Dean Havel, Bald Eagle Water -Ski Club <br />Mr. Havel introduced himself to the Committee and stated that he felt that with the Main Street Market <br />attendance has increased at their shows. He thanked the Committee for the relationship that they have <br />with the Club and requested that the Club desired to provide their merchandise for sale, provide give a - <br />ways such as bottled water or pre -packaged food items. Discussion was had regarding third -parry <br />sales/vendors for the weeks that the Market was not in season. He also requested that the Club have the <br />ability to install a boat lift to the existing dock for the summer months with it being removed following <br />the end of the season. <br />Upon receipt of the numerous requests by staff, a review was completed of the current agreement between <br />the City and the Club. It was determined that updating of the existing document was needed along with <br />the inclusion of several of the Club's request. A revised agreement was contained in the packet for the <br />Committee's review. <br />Motion by Acting Chair Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Akpan to recommend approval <br />by the Council of the revised agreement as presented subiect to review by the City Attorney. All <br />in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. None. <br />V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. 22-001: Music in the Park & Food Truck/Scout Sales/Park Provided Items <br />Motion by Acting Chair Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Akpan to table this item to the <br />next meeting. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Drinking Fountain Installation — to be included as part of the Master Park Plan <br />Motion by Committee Member Kubat, seconded by Acting Chair Seeley to table this item to <br />January/February, 2023 meeting allowing for Staff to explore options. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />3. Draft Permit for use of City Owned Property Located at 7145 Main Street (Trailside Park) <br />Item was discussed earlier in the meeting. <br />4. Preferred Emerald Ash Borer Contractor (RFP) Rainbow Trees Service <br />Motion by Acting Chair Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Kubat to recommend to Council <br />to approve Rainbow Tree Service as the City's Preferred Emerald Ash Borer Contractor which <br />would provide residents a 33% discount for services through 2023. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />5. Movie in the Park <br />Motion by Committee Member Akpan, seconded by Committee Member Freiermuth to table to <br />
