Thank You Notes or Appreciation Certificates <br />City Clerk Bender reported that St. Gen's Hospitality Hall was available for August 9 or November 8, <br />2022 and also provided samples of the invite for volunteers. <br />7. Chain of Lakes Rotary Walk Club/Centennial Walking Club <br />This item was previously discussed. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Port -a -Pot at Hidden Spring Park <br />Staff reported that a suggestion had been made to have a port -a -pot available at Hidden Spring Park <br />during Music in the Park (June -August). <br />Motion by Committee Member Kubat, seconded by Committee Member Freiermuth to <br />recommend to Council to place a port -a -pot in Hidden Spring Park from June -August for 2023. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Volunteer Recruitment <br />This item was placed on the agenda for discussion only. <br />The Committee provided suggestions for recruitment (i.e., encouraging local groups, families, and <br />neighbors to make a commitment; consideration of hiring a part-time coordinator, utilizing the Junior <br />Council Member/Scouts, etc. The Committee suggested additional discussion to be had at their next <br />meeting. <br />VIL APPROVAL OF JULY 6, 2022 P & R MINUTES <br />It was suggested that if there are any modifications to the minutes that committee members send their <br />suggestions to staff prior to the meeting. <br />Motion by Committee Member Akpan, seconded by Committee Member Freiermuth to approve <br />the July 6, 2022 minutes. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />VIII. UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1. Staff Updates <br />a. Main Street Market — the first 4 weeks were well attended: <br />Week 1- 477; Week 2 (Fete des Lacs) 888; Week 3 (Ladies Night) — 330; Week 4 — 422 <br />During this period there were between 15 and 20 vendors each week. <br />
