Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br />The Downtown Redevelopment Market <br />Study is currently underway, and we are <br />seeking citizen input about redevelopment <br />in Centerville. <br /> <br />Residents can share their ideas by accessing <br />the cityÓs website and completing a brief online survey. <br /> <br />Click on the link below to access the website: <br />www.centervillemn.com or utilize the QR code above to the <br />right. <br /> <br />CENTENNIAL LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Our newest police officer, Cole Henjum will be starting his <br />th <br />pre-service training on Monday, January 30. Cole is a <br />graduate of St. Francis High School. Cole earned his <br />bachelorÓs degree in criminal justice from St. Cloud State <br />University, and recently served in the U.S. Army with the <br />st <br />101 Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, <br />Kentucky. While in the Army, Cole was in Ranger School <br />focusing on Tactical Combat Casualty care. We are very <br />pleased to have Cole join our department and we are very <br />excited to work with him in the months and years to <br />come. Welcome to the Centennial Lakes Police <br />Department Cole! <br /> <br />CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT <br />Firefighting is a difficult job to begin with, but you can do your part to make it easier by clearing snow <br />from around fire hydrants. This saves precious time for our crews, leading to better outcomes. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Project Map <br />Staff has prepared a map of all active developments to help everyone get a better picture of whatÓs <br />happening around our community. The number you see at the heading of each item in this section <br />corresponds to a number on the map, which is attached to the end of this report. <br /> <br />(11) Norbella Senior Living <br />The Norbella Senior Living facility erected a new sign to cap <br />off their first-class development. The rooms are 42% full and <br />their operation is fully staffed. <br /> <br />(9) Block 7 Property (Downtown) <br />The city approved a purchase agreement with a developer <br />(Schifsky Companies) who continues to explore the viability <br />of the site for a townhome style development. City staff <br />recently met with Mr. Schifsky to look at ways to more <br />efficiently engineer the siteÓs stormwater infrastructure. <br /> <br />
