To our knowledge, the property has <br />not been on the market for very long. A new development of this scope will create <br />additional resource demands and impose costs on city services without additional funds <br />flowing into the property tax pool. For the duration of the TIF period, we, the existing <br />taxpayers, will have to either pay more to cover those costs or accept a lower level of <br />service as those resources are spread much thinner.
