City of Centerville <br />City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes <br />Apri124, 2024 <br />2. City Council Chambers Broadcast Technology Upgrade <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the Request for Council Action contained in the Council's packet. He <br />briefly stated that the City had been plagued with echoing during Zoom meeting and new technology has <br />emerged and this would be a minimal upgrade, that he recommended and that funds would come from <br />the Cable Fund. <br />Discussion ensued regarding alternative options, other upgrades, North Metro TV's assistance in the <br />recommendation and intermittent issues being something new each issue or human error. <br />Motion b,�Council Member Taylor, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Authorize the <br />uote/Purchase from Z-S stems to Purchase the Quoted E�:ui )meat. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />3. Consider Rescheduling of June 26, 2024, City Council Meeting <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the Request for Council Action contained in the Council's packet. He <br />stated that several members of the Council may be in attendance of the League of MN Cities Annual <br />Conference on June 26 — 28, 2024 and the necessity of a quorum for some major projects that are <br />coming before the Council for consideration. He also stated that staff was proposing the meeting to take <br />place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. <br />Discussion ensued regarding whether the decision needed to be made this evening and to forward a <br />survey regarding availability. <br />Motion bMaior Loveseconded by Council Member Taylor to Table the Item. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br />4. Website and Mobile App Renewal <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis reviewed the Request for Council Action contained in the Council's <br />packet. She stated that the vendor was modifying their pricing structure for year 4 due to investments in <br />cyber security, adding additional services for ADA services, etc. <br />Discussion ensued regarding renewal adjustments, the structure that was stated when purchasing the <br />product and services, services being S1,000/month currently and a 5% increase for year 4, additional <br />options and similar procedures for migration to another provider and redesign, and previously receiving <br />a very competitive pricing along with the Mobile App. She stated that the City was eligible for redesign <br />in 2026. She stated that the Department of Justice has been more active with looking at sites ensuring <br />ADA requirements and that staff had recently attended a League of MN Cities Safety Training <br />addressing the item. <br />Motion by Council Member Ta%lorw seconded b%, Council Member Mosher to Approve the <br />Aao,reement for Year Three and Four for Renewing the Website Services and MobileA, ;l as <br />resented. <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />
