ROCKITE SKI SLIDE shall be constructed of Rockite with aluminum bolting plates incorporated internally for securing the legs and in the end
<br />connecting to the deck. Models for 2' decks shall have bedways approximately 4' long; models for 3' decks shall have bedways approximately 5'
<br />long. The dimensions shall be: bedway width 31-3/4", outside overall 38", rail width 3-1/8", top of bedway to top of rail 4-1/2", and bedway thickness
<br />shall be 2". The front “T” leg shall consist of an upright and a top. The upright shall be constructed of 2-3/8" tube, 12 ga. with a 1-1/4" x 3-1/4"
<br />channel top constructed of 11 ga. sheet, welded to the upright in a “T” configuration. The handhold assembly shall be constructed of 1" pipe
<br />measuring 29" long center to center (except Tots' Choice models which shall be constructed of 1" tube.) (Instead of a handhold assembly, Model #
<br />718-874 shall contain a canopy constructed of Rockite, with an inside width of 39” and an outside width of 44”. The canopy hood shall be slanted at
<br />37 degrees. A 37” top rail of 1" pipe shall be used in the field to attach the canopy to clamps on posts.) The Rockite slide (and canopy when
<br />applicable) shall have color molded in. The legs, clamps, rung and handhold shall have a Mira-Cote finish.
<br />ROLLER SLIDE shall be designed for 5’ deck heights only. Roller Slide shall have 5" high side rails, 30" wide sliding surface, 31" overall width
<br />and 120 approximate overall length. The side rails shall be constructed of 3/8" 6061 aluminum plate with 5/8" diameter 6061 aluminum rod top rail.
<br />The top fill-in plate shall be constructed of 3/8" 6061 aluminum plate. The rollers shall be 1-1/2" diameter 6061 aluminum tubes and 29-7/8" long
<br />with sealed ball bearings installed in both ends. The deck enclosure shall consist of two arched top rails with left and right vertical handholds, curved
<br />at the bottom, all constructed of 1" pipe and a left and right infill upright of 1" tube, all solid welded. Front leg shall be constructed of two vertical 1-
<br />5/8" tube, 10 ga. and a horizontal 1-1/2" pipe, solid welded. Assembly shall contain Versalok Fasteners and Fastener Style A hardware. The
<br />side rails, deck enclosure and front leg shall have a Mira-Cote finish. The rollers and top fill-in plate shall have a Mira-Therm2 PE coating.
<br />MIRA-THERM2 ATA STAIRS BETWEEN DECKS shall be stair assemblies, with spoked or open handrails, designed to connect decks of
<br />different heights. The steps shall be constructed of 7 ga. steel stringers with treads constructed of 11 ga. steel sheet perforated with a staggered
<br />pattern of 3/8” diameter holes at 5/8” apart center-to-center, solid welded, with polyvinyl coating. The braces shall be constructed of 11 ga. black.
<br />The spoked handrails shall consist of a top and bottom rail and newel post, all of 1" pipe, and uprights constructed of 3/4" x 1" oval tube, all solid
<br />welded, with plastic pipe plugs inserted in open ends. Top rails shall have 3/8” aluminum inserts. The open handrails shall consist of a top and
<br />bottom rail and newel post of 1" pipe, all solid welded, with plastic pipe plugs inserted in open ends. Top rails shall have 3/8” aluminum inserts.
<br />The top deck enclosure shall consist of enclosure rails and an upright, both to be constructed of 1" pipe, drilled and solid welded, with one end of
<br />upright mashed for field attachment to deck. The bottom deck enclosure shall consist of horizontal rails and an upright of 1" pipe, drilled and solid
<br />welded, and a spoke upright of 3/4" x 1" oval tube. The upright shall be mashed on one end for field attachment to deck. Inserted in open ends will
<br />be plastic pipe plugs. The assembly shall include Fastener Style A hardware and Versalok Fasteners. The step assemblies shall be finished in
<br />Mira-Therm2 or Mira-Therm2 PE. The deck enclosures, handrails, and clamps shall be finished in Mira-Cote.
<br />BONGO BRIDGES shall be designed to enter/exit 2' or lower deck systems, either as a bridge between decks, a ground-to-deck "stair," or as a
<br />freestanding assembly with no decks. When installed as a bridge, pods may be installed at ascending/descending heights or all level but should
<br />follow a straight course between decks. Freestanding pods may ascend and descend and may follow any course so long as pods are set 7" to 9"
<br />edge-to-edge. Pods may also be clustered and installed flush with each other to create a table, seats, small climber, etc. Regardless of layout and
<br />design, pod steps top surface may be set no greater than 24" from finished grade. Note: If designing as bridge between 2'-0" decks intended for 2 to
<br />5-year-old users, deck enclosures Model # 714-813-5 must be installed on each deck, which shall be sold separately. Each pod step shall be
<br />constructed of Rockite and shall contain a honeycomb textured, hex-shaped top surface measuring approximately 16" diameter. Pod steps shall
<br />measure 12" high without posts. Posts shall be constructed of 1-1/2" pipe with a 5-7/8" diameter mounting plate of 11 ga. G-90 galvanized solid
<br />welded to the posts. Post lengths shall be 38-5/16" before field assembly to pods. Overall assembled length shall be 42". All fasteners shall be
<br />Fastener Style A. The Rockite pod steps shall have color molded in. The posts shall be finished in Mira-Cote.
<br />LOOP SEAT is an inventive way for kids to rest between play. The Loop Seat shall install between existing deck posts and is situated at a 45-
<br />degree angle to create a combination seat and back rest. The Loop Seat shall consist of two loop halves constructed of 2-3/8" tube, 12 ga., solid
<br />welded to each other to create one Loop Seat. Each loop half shall measure 32-5/8” in length and 14-13/16” in height. Two 4-3/8” stubs shall be
<br />solid welded to short sides of Loop Seat and shall be constructed of 2-3/8" tube, 12 ga. The assembly shall contain Versalok Fasteners and
<br />Fastener Style A hardware. The Loop Seat shall be finished in Mira-Cote.
<br />POD SEATS shall be designed to attach to existing Kids’ Choice deck posts, creating a resting seat. Pods shall be constructed of Rockite and
<br />shall contain a hex-shaped top surface measuring approximately 14-1/2” in diameter. Pods shall measure 12” without frame. Frame shall be
<br />constructed of a horizontal bar constructed of 2-3/8" tube, 12 ga.; a 5” diameter bolting plate of 5" Sch 40 pipe solid welded to the frame’s
<br />horizontal bar; seat support post(s) measuring 11” constructed of 1-1/2" pipe solid welded to the frame’s horizontal bar; post mount plate(s)
<br />measuring 5-7/8” x 5-7/8”, constructed of 11 ga. galvanized solid welded to the seat support post(s). Frame length for Model # 714-817-3B shall be
<br />11-1/4” before field assembly to pod seat. Frame length for Model # 714-817-4B shall be 43” before field assembly to pod seats. All fasteners shall
<br />be Fastener Style A. The Rockite pod seats shall have color molded in. The frames shall be finished in Mira-Cote.
<br />CHUNKY TREKKER shall comprise a rail constructed of 2-3/8" tube, two 5” x 2-3/8” sleeves constructed of 2-3/8" tube, 12 ga. and foot step
<br />brackets constructed of 7 ga. sheet, all solid welded. Rail shall measure 75-1/2" in length. Brackets shall be graduated in height from 3-1/2", 4-1/8",
<br />4-1/2" and 4-3/4". All brackets shall be 12-7/8" in length. Legs shall have one swaged end, measure 54-3/16” in length and be constructed of 2-3/8"
<br />tube, 12 ga. Foot step covers shall be constructed of 11 ga. sheet perforated with a staggered pattern of .375" diameter holes at 5/8" apart center to
<br />center. Steps shall be 15" in length. Each assembly shall contain Versalok Fasteners and Fastener Style A hardware. The Chunky Trekker
<br />weldment and legs shall have a Mira-Cote finish. Foot step covers shall have a Mira-Therm2 or Mira-Therm2 PE finish.
<br />PLAYTIME 2 COMPONENTS shall consist of models that are designed to be either freestanding climbers or attached between two decks.
