The waterbody will be regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of <br />Engineers. <br />Permit application fees will be paid by the City and are not included in our fee. <br />Task 5: Preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Cost Estimates <br />Stantec will develop plans in accordance with MnDOT State Aid design guidelines. The plans will generally <br />include the following sheets: <br /> Title sheet with signature blocks for required approvals <br /> Existing conditions and demolition plans <br /> Erosion control plans/Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) <br /> Traffic control and detour plan <br /> Box culvert plan and profile <br /> Box culvert barrel and standard details <br /> Box culvert headwall details <br /> Bridge survey plans <br />Draft plans and an estimate of probable construction costs (EOPC) will be provided to the City for review at <br />60% and 90% stages. Technical specifications will be prepared and submitted with the final plans to <br />MnDOT for approval and funding authorization. <br />Task 6: State Aid Submittal and Bridge Funding Application <br />As a small community, State Bridge Funds (when available) can be used to pay up to 100% of the eligible <br />costs to replace the structure, less local contributions of $10,000 each for engineering and construction. <br />To be considered for State Bridge Funding, the bridge owner must follow an application process that <br />generally includes a City Council resolution committing to the project, Bridge Funding application, and <br />approval of construction plans. Stantec will prepare the submittal documents and guide the City through <br />the process of placing the bridge on the funding priority list. <br />34 <br /> <br />
