Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation for Installation of Disc Golf Course at <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Not to Exceed $10,000 <br />Mayor Golden provided an opportunity for members to remove items for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Mayor Golden, to Approve the Consent Agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued as Council Member Rios stated that Chairperson Errickson-Grahek requested that the <br />Disc Golf Course amount be changed to an amount not to exceed $11,000. <br /> <br />Mayor Golden moved to pull Item #7 for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Motion failed. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Rios, seconded by Mayor Golden to approve the Consent Agenda Items <br />1 through 6 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Rios, seconded by Council Member Koski, to approve Consent Agenda <br />Item #7 in an amount not to exceed $11,000 as requested by Chair Errickson-Grahek. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS. <br /> <br />1. Brian Drive Culvert <br />Interim City Administrator Lewis stated that the item was previously before council, council requested <br />complete engineering review with the inclusion of alternatives upon the outcome of the inspection. <br /> <br />Ms. Kellie Schlegel, City Engineer, stated that the bridge had been inspected in 2022 by a consultant, on <br />behalf of Anoka County. The results were that the bridge was found to be structurally deficient. She <br />stated that in February, the Council directed Stantec to perform an analysis on potential solutions. She <br />stated that there were four potential options: two of the options were to increase the depth of cover over <br />the existing roadway above the culvert with either bituminous or concrete pavement.
