City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 13, 2006 <br /> 3. LMC Minnesota Coalition of Stormwater Cities Program $470.00 <br /> <br /> City Administrator Larson indicated that not all cities are affected by this but smaller <br /> metro cities are affected. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve Membership in LMC Minnesota Coalition of Stormwater Cities Program <br />not to Exceed $470.00. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 4. Centennial Fire District 2007 Budget <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated the budget was proposed by the Fire Governing <br />Board and then outlined the increases in the budget and explained that those arose due to <br />spending down of reserves to cover costs. <br /> <br />Council Member Terway indicated that the Fire Governing Board intends to increase the <br />budget to allow for enough funds to build a reserve to carry over to cover any costs for an <br />emergency. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee explained that the budget overage due to on call response has been <br />handled. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to approve <br />the Centennial Fire District 2007 Budget. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> 5. Preliminary Development Agreements – Beard Group <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser indicated that approval of these agreements will prevent the city <br />from entering into an agreement with anyone else and allow time for the developer to <br />analyze the project and present the City with a plan.. <br /> <br />Council Member Terway asked for clarification to see if there would be any costs <br />involved between now and December. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser indicated that there will be costs for Staff time and engineering. <br /> <br />Council Member Terway asked about what costs to expect. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the City will most likely have costs involved in <br />researching and planning for drainage from the developed site. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser indicated that Item 10 lists things to be accomplished but most of <br />them are already done. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
