City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />November 8, 2006 <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve the Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation to Authorize the Use <br />of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Hockey Rink 2006-2007 Season to Centennial <br />Youth Hockey Association as requested. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1. Nomination to Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers <br /> <br />Mayor Capra explained that the City received a letter of interest from Mr. Dick Travis. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to nominate <br />Mr. Travis for the Rice Creek Board of Managers. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. November Meeting Schedule <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that the next meeting is scheduled for the night <br />before Thanksgiving and asked whether Council would like to consider rescheduling <br />same to November 29, 2006. <br /> <br />Motion by Terway, seconded by Paar, to reschedule the November 22, 2006 meeting <br />to November 29, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. to follow the meeting on Truth in Taxation. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council set Friday, November 17, at 4:00 p.m. to reconvene as the Canvassing Board. <br /> <br />VIII. Resolution #06-048 – Assessment Roll Delinquent Utilities/Garbage <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve Resolution #06-048, Assessment Roll Delinquent Utilities/Garbage.
