<br />b. The Respondent shall also provide information in the plan that <br />responds to all applicable questions and issues outlined for local <br />governments in the Metropolitan Council's "Local Planning <br />Handbook" and shall ensure that the plan is in conformance with <br />Minnesota Statutes ~462.355 as amended and consistent with other <br />State Statutes. <br /> <br />c. The Respondent shall provide fifteen (15) bound color copies, one <br />(1) unbound copy and one (1) electronic version of the final <br />Comprehensive Plan update in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat or <br />PDF version as best suits the City's compatibility. The <br />Respondent shall also provide the GIS data used to create maps <br />that are contained in the Comprehensive Plan document. <br /> <br />V. TIMELINE <br /> <br />The consultant will be expected to begin work as soon as the consultant selection process <br />is completed. As a general goal, the Comprehensive Plan should be ready for submission <br />to the Metropolitan Council by June of2008. <br /> <br />VI. EV ALVA TION AND SELECTION PROCESS <br /> <br />Proposals that comply with the instructions set forth in the document will be evaluated by <br />the City of Centerville; however, the City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all <br />proposals received, in whole or in part. At its discretion, the City of Centerville may <br />choose to waive informalities or immaterial deviations from the RFP instructions. <br />Selection of a consultant is expected to be made not later than March 28, 2007. Proposals <br />will be evaluated on the following criteria (in general order of importance). <br /> <br />1. Experience with similar contracts and clients. <br /> <br />2. The experience and qualifications of the proposed staff in providing <br />similar services. <br /> <br />3. Any experience in comprehensive planning for high growth communities. <br /> <br />4. A proven ability to engage and manage productive public participation in <br />the process. <br /> <br />5. The extent of involvement by key personnel. <br /> <br />6. The extent to which previous clients have found the firm's services <br />acceptable. <br /> <br />7. Previous City experience with the proposing firm, if any. <br /> <br />8.
