After all, the City is our largest donor and the Council is responsible to the taxpayers to ensure that they are being fiscally responsible. I will be creating an overall budget using the preliminary numbers that I have received, I will also be providing the Council with the breakdowns that each individual committee has turned in thus far. I would invite all of you to provide me with the latest and most updated information by Friday (tomorrow) at noon before I turn this in. The Council will not accept any information that is not included in their packet, it is imperitive that any information you would like included is to me by NOON on FRIDAY. I will be explaining to the council that I am looking for feedback from them on how this preliminary first draft looks. I will then return to the committee meeting on March 19th to fine tune everything with the entire committee. I will be appearing before the entire Council on March 28th to present our entire budget to e Council and ask for approval so that the sub committees of the Fete s Lacs can move forward with the proper direction from the Council, within a specified budget. I am also going to be working on some different policies and procedures that the members of the committee can give me feedback on and ultimately approve to help things run efficiently and effectively.
