City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 28, 2007 <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst stated that the remainder of funds from the parade could be utilities for <br />this expenditure and further research would need to be compiled for costs. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra requested that Mr. Kieselhorst obtain costs associated with the additional <br />fireworks. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra questioned whether the Lion’s desired Council to expend funds at this time. <br />Mr. Kieselhorst concurred. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson questioned if the Lion’s disburse funds directly to the vendor <br />or whether the City completes this. Mr. Kieselhorst stated that the City disburses funds <br />to them and they in turn disburse funds to vendors. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that disbursement of funds for the City festival would be placed on <br />the upcoming agenda if the Lion’s submitted their information in a timely manner for <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar commented that the dance was a large attraction last year and he <br />believes it will be again this year. He stated he desires to ensure adequate amenities <br />however. Mr. Kieselhorst stated that additional help, security and porta-potties would be <br />secured this year. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra instructed Mr. Kieselhorst to speak with City Administrator Larson <br />regarding financial arrangements. <br /> <br /> <br />b.Approval of LG220 –Application for Exempt Permit – Raffle for 2007 Fete <br />des Lacs. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, Seconded by Council Member Lakso, to Approve <br />the form LG220 – Application for Exempt Permit – Raffle for 2007 Fete des Lacs as <br />submitted and completed by the Centerville Lions. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />c.Approval of the Centerville Lion’s Use of Laurie LaMotte Park for the 2007 <br />Easter Egg Hunt (April 7, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.). <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, Seconded by Council Member Parr, to Approve <br />the Centerville Lion’s Use of Laurie LaMotte Park for the 2007 Easter Egg Hunt <br />(April 7, 2007 – 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) All in favor.
