City of Centerville <br />February 9, 2005 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />4. Centerville Lion’s Request for Special Event Permit – Fishing Contest (February <br />13, 2005) <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve the request of the Centerville Lions for a special event permit for the <br />fishing contest on February 13, 2005. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />5. ICMA Membership – M. Lakso <br />Council Member Lakso asked if anyone was a member of this organization and whether <br />Council would consider membership to allow access to information that may be helpful <br />to Council. <br />Council discussed the matter and agreed to utilize the League of Minnesota Cities for <br />information needed and wait until the new City Administrator is hired to see if he/she is a <br />member or may be interested in being a member. <br />6. Resolution #05-009 – Abatement for Ground Development, Outlot B Special <br />nd <br />Assessments Associated with the Hunters Crossing 2 Addition, Phase I <br />City Attorney Hoeft explained that he has negotiated an abatement for the assessment to <br />Ground Development’s Outlot B as they have agreed not to develop it so there is no <br />benefit to that parcel. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Lakso to approve Resolution #05-009, an Abatement for Ground Development for <br />Outlot B as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />7. Resolution #05-010 Accepting Bids for Pond and Ditch Improvements Project <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve Resolution #05-010 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />8. Pre-Payment of Parkview Development GO Improvement Bonds, 1998 <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Lakso to approve the pre-payment of Parkview Development GO Improvement <br />Bonds as recommended by the Finance Director. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) <br />Lino Lakes is proceeding with the AUAR. <br />Page 5 of 8 <br /> <br />
