City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 27, 2005 <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Terway, to <br />approve the police budget for 2006 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> 3. Centerville Lion’s Request for Noise Permit – Fete des Lacs <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway to approve a <br />special temporary event noise permit for the Lions for the Fete des Lacs Festival for <br />Friday, August 5, 2005, Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. <br />to Midnight. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4. Authorization for Staff to Solicit for Quotes for Mound Trail Water Main <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff is looking at doing quotes for Mound Trail <br />and hope to get that done for under $50,000. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway, to <br />authorize Staff to go out for quotes for Mound Trail Water Main and to authorize <br />associated engineering costs. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />rd <br /> 5. Release of Easement – Hunter’s Crossing 3 Addition <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that from the survey there is a prior underlying <br />easement not needed in Hunter’s Crossing Third Addition that needs to be released. <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that would be done through quit claim deed. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve the <br />release of the easement with the legal to be determined by Staff as requested. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Lion’s Previous Request for Temporary Liquor License <br />Mayor Capra noted that it has been determined that liquor sales can start at 10:00 a.m. on <br />Sunday. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve a <br />temporary 3.2 malt liquor license for the Lion’s for the Fete des Lacs Festival for <br />Friday, August 6, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 7 from <br />10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2005. <br />All in favor.
